The source exhibits poor image quality, characterized by a serious issue with chroma plane, including pronounced chroma shift and severe aliasing along chroma lines. The chroma shift was initially measured and fixed, followed by a reconstruction of the chroma plane using a neural network algorithm. The native resolution is approximately 719.8p. Lines from the luma plane also suffer from aliasing and blur resulting from inadequate upscaling, as well as aliasing induced by 3D modeling, which were removed by descaling and reconstruction, and conventional pre-processing. The flat area generally maintains acceptable quality, despite DCT noise and blocking in the hyperdynamic scene, attributable to the deficient bitrate and limited encoding quality at that time. Adaptive de-blocking, proper de-banding, and denoising were performed to address the issues above.
